How are we able to Communicate Freely, especially in Emergencies?

The Meta Node™ based on Meshtastic is an innovative, open-source project that creates a decentralized, long-range communication network using LoRa radios. Ideal for off-grid communication, The Meta Nodes™ allows users to send text messages and share location data without relying on traditional cell networks or Wi-Fi. Devices form a mesh network, with each unit acting as a node to relay messages, extending the communication range. It’s perfect for outdoor adventures, remote areas, or emergency situations where regular communication infrastructure is unavailable.

How to Use Your Solar Node:

Make sure to attach the antenna BEFORE you switch the radio on. It’s unlikely, but running the radio without an antenna can cause damage. Everything is connected and powered up, all you need to do is push the switch and it will turn on. After about 20 seconds you will be able to connect to the radio from the Meshtastic app on your phone with the default bluetooth PIN of 123456.

The Ultimate Solar Node can be mounted to any wall, house, building, just like hanging a picture frame. Use the included drill guide to mount a pair of standard wood screws to your intended surface.

While the wireless radio uses just a tiny bit of power, this radio will still need a little sunlight most days to remain on constantly and charged. Fully charged it can run for up to 30 days or more without sunlight, which should get you through a lot of bad weather.

The access panel has a custom TPU gasket to keep out moisture, but if you want, you can silicone the lid shut to fully seal it.
