About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Academic Program Administrator to architect and implement our educational programs of study. This is a unique opportunity to shape the academic infrastructure of a growing metaphysical university from the ground up. You’ll work directly with leadership to translate historical, behavioral and esoteric teachings into structured, accessible curriculum pathways that serve students at all levels of their journey.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development & Design

Design comprehensive programs of study across multiple disciplines including metaphysics, herbalism, astrology, consciousness studies, and holistic health
Create clear learning pathways with prerequisite structures, course sequences, and progression milestones
Develop course syllabi, learning objectives, and assessment frameworks
Structure certificate programs, degree equivalencies, and continuing education tracks

Academic Administration

Establish academic standards, grading systems, and competency benchmarks
Create student handbooks, academic policies, and program requirements documentation
Design enrollment systems and student progression tracking mechanisms
Coordinate with instructors to ensure curriculum alignment and quality

Content Organization & Management

Organize extensive existing teaching materials into coherent course modules
Develop standardized course templates and content delivery formats
Create resource libraries, reading lists, and supplementary materials
Manage the academic calendar including course schedules and registration periods

Platform & Systems Integration

Work with web development team to implement learning management system features
Structure online course delivery, video content organization, and student portals
Develop systems for course enrollment, progress tracking, and certification issuance
Ensure seamless integration between academic programs and website infrastructure

Quality Assurance & Innovation

Continuously evaluate and improve program effectiveness
Research best practices in alternative education and online learning
Gather student feedback and implement program enhancements
Develop new programs based on emerging educational needs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Academic Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or academic program management
Proven ability to organize complex information into structured learning pathways
Strong project management skills with ability to work independently
Excellent written communication and documentation abilities
Experience with Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Canvas, Teachable, etc.)
Comfort with WordPress and web-based content management

Preferred Qualifications

Background in alternative education, holistic studies, or consciousness research
Experience building educational programs from inception
Knowledge of accreditation processes and academic standards
Familiarity with metaphysical, esoteric, or consciousness-based content
Experience with online course platforms and digital education delivery
Understanding of adult learning principles and non-traditional education models
