About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. As the sole inventory specialist for our warehouse that we will be operating out of soon, you’ll be the cornerstone of our inventory accuracy and supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of inventory control including receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and reconciliation
Operate and maintain our advanced inventory management system (Fishbowl Inventory/NetSuite WMS)
Conduct daily cycle counts and quarterly physical inventories to ensure 99%+ accuracy
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis
Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and shrinkage
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse operations, and logistics teams to optimize stock levels
Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse organization and SKU management
Utilize barcode scanning systems and RFID technology for real-time tracking
Train warehouse staff on proper inventory handling procedures

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management
Proficiency with modern WMS platforms (Fishbowl, NetSuite, SAP WM, or Manhattan SCALE)
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
Experience conducting cycle counts and physical inventories
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
